Thermodynamic Solar collectors are a revolutionary way to heat your home which is better suited to the Climate in Ireland. Unlike conventional solar panels our collectors work all year in rain, wind and even during extended periods of cloud cover.These Solar collectors use a liquid refrigerant instead of water, which is much more efficient in grey cloudy skies (as here in Ireland!) and will absorb ambient temperatures from both sides of a panel. The refrigerant in the panel will change state from the liquid to a gas. It then gets compressed and the temperature increases and then transfers to your hot water cylinder though a heat exchanger. The process is similar to a domestic fridge operating in reverse.
